Sidharth Malhotra Opens Up About His Experience Filming Student Of The Year, Calls It Overwhelming

It`s been 10 years ever since Sidharth Malhotra made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar`s Student Of The Year and it just feels like yesterday. The charming, sensuous college boy has now turned into a stunning man who`s about to marry the woman of his dreams. Coming back to Student Of The Year, Sidharth opens up about his experience shooting the movie alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, who were also debutants in the same movie. Calling it "very overwhelming", guess what made him say that.
Was it the fact that Sidharth Malhotra was the only outsider among the two star kids or how Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan had some experience on how to deal with camera and other nitty-gritties of movie business? A typical Delhi munda who came straight to Mumbai to pursue his dreams of becoming an actor, Sidharth spoke about his first day on Student Of The Year sets.
"I shot for the song, Radha. I was wearing a blue kurta and the first shot I gave was me taking a step down and looking at Alia’s character," recalled the actor. "A lot of things went into that first day, which I remember very clearly. It feels surreal that it has been ten years," Malhotra further added. Did you know there were hundred plus dancers hired for the popular song Radha?
The actor also mentioned how nervous he was to be a crucial part of the sets where Farah Khan was the choreographer. Further, Malhotra said he has been lucky enough to have a massive start to his Bollywood career and he has nothing to complain about. The two mantras Sid lives on are hardwork and dedication, without which he wouldn`t have had such an amazing launch.
On the work front, the actor was last seen in Shershaah alongside his lady love Kiara Advani. He will be seen next in Thank God, a comedy-drama, which also stars Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles.
