After a sabbatical of 14 years, Shilpa Shetty Kundra is back with her much awaited film 'Nikamma'. Directed by the Heropanti director Sabbir Khan, the film is the remake of 2017 Telugu film Middle-Class Abbayi and will be released on June 17, 2022.


The film stars Abhimanyu Dassani, Shirley Setia, Samir Soni and Shilpa Shetty Kundra in pivotal roles.The film revolves around Sidharth who plays the role of a lazy lad who is forced to work by Anvi (essayed by Shilpa Shetty), a supervillain who makes him do daily household chores. Shirley Sethia, who is making her Bollywood debut, plays the role of his love interest in the film. The film has received mixed reviews.

In an media interactive Shilpa Shetty thanked director for the opportunity and said the script of Nikkamma is something she could not say no to.
