Veteran Bollywood actor and ace comedian Satish Kaushik
passed away at 66 after suffering from a
brutal heart attack at 1:00 AM at the midnight. According to reports, his body will be examined at Gurgaon's Fortis Hospital and then sent to Mumbai.

Known for movies like Mr. India, Andaz, Ram Lakhan, Sharmaji Namkeen, and more - Satish Kaushik was an ace actor, a spectacular comedian, and a great director. He is popularly known for his character 'Calendar' in Anil Kapoor and
Sridevi starrer Mr, India. He has also directed several movies like Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hai, Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Tere Naam, Badhaai Ho Badhaai, and more.
He began his career in theatre and drama after graduating from the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India.
Satish made his debut with Naseeruddin Shah and Manisha Koirala's Masoom. He went on to do some incredible roles. His first film as a director was Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. The actor won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award for Ram Lakhan. Along with being a
flawless actor, he was also recognized and awarded for co-writing various shows and dialogues for some superhit movies and television shows.

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher claimed Satish Kaushik complained of feeling uneasy while he was at a friend's house in Delhi.
'He felt uneasy and he told the driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he suffered a heart attack around 1 am,' Kher told PTI.
He was last seen at a Holi party hosted by Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi. The actor took to Instagram and shared a post where he can be seen posing with Ali Fazal,
Richa Chadha, Javed Akhtar as well as Mahima Chaudhry.
Bollywood reacts to Satish Kaushik's demise
The actor's close friend Anupam Kher took to Instagram and shared an unseen picture with him. He captioned the post in Hndi,
'I know 'death is the ultimate truth of this world!' But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!'

Kangana Ranaut and Satish Kaushik collaborated for her upcoming directorial Emergency. She tweeted,
'Woke up to this horrible news, he was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor and director #SatishKaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man, I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, Om Shanti.'Manoj Bajpayee also took to Twitter and expressed condolences for the family.
