Sanchita Ugale dies by suicide at 22 near Mumbai
The television industry is mourning the tragic loss of actress Sanchita Ugale, best known for her appearances in popular shows including Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya.
The young actress reportedly died by suicide at her residence in Nalasopara East near Mumbai on June 14. She was 22.
According to police officials, the incident took place at her home in Sai Santoshi Building in Achole Village, Nalasopara East. Initial reports suggest that Sanchita had locked herself inside her bedroom before the tragic incident occurred.
Authorities stated that she was later found hanging from a ceiling fan using a saree. Family members and local residents rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Assistant Police Inspector Vinod Bagh of Achole Police Station said, "Sanchita had locked herself inside her bedroom and allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan using a saree."
Police have launched an investigation into the matter and are examining all possible angles. As of now, no official reason behind the alleged suicide has been confirmed.
Authorities are reportedly reviewing her recent activities and digital communications as part of the ongoing probe.
Sanchita Ugale had been steadily building a career across television, OTT platforms, and films. Apart from Kumkum Bhagya, she appeared in projects such as Wagle Ki Duniya, Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, Crime Aaj Kal, Silence 2, and the historical drama Chhaava.
Her growing popularity and active presence on social media had earned her a dedicated fan following.
