Her recent Instagram post from her trip to Detroit, Michigan, where she attended the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) 2025 edition, has sent fans into a frenzy, with many believing it`s a "soft launch" of their relationship.
A Glimpse into Detroit Adventures
On Tuesday, Samantha shared a series of photos from her Detroit visit. While the actress looked chic in various ensembles, including an oversized brown sweatshirt and relaxed denim, and a dazzling golden outfit by designer Kresha Bajaj, it was the recurring presence of rumoured beau Raj Nidimoru that truly captured attention.
One image shows Raj, one half of the popular Raj & DK duo, with his arm affectionately around Samantha as they walk, both sporting wide smiles. Another candid shot features them seated side-by-side at a restaurant, sharing a meal with friends, appearing relaxed and at ease. The photo dump also included solo pictures of Samantha at a quaint cafe and a heartwarming one of her snuggled in bed with her adorable dog.
Samantha captioned the photo series simply: “Detroit”, but the subtle post stirred strong reactions online. Fans quickly picked up on the apparent closeness between the two. Comments flooded in, with one fan exclaiming, “So babyyyy is it official???? I’m soo soo happy for you Sam,” while another wrote, “Finally found your love. Happy for you!” Many users interpreted the post as a subtle way for Samantha to make their relationship public, with comments like, "So you`re soft launching your relationship with Raj."

Rumours of Samantha and Raj`s relationship have been circulating for a while, largely due to their frequent professional collaborations. Samantha made her OTT debut with Raj & DK’s acclaimed spy-thriller The Family Man 2 and later reunited with them for Citadel: Honey Bunny. She is also set to headline Rakt Brahmand, a new series backed by Raj & DK.
While neither Samantha nor Raj Nidimoru has officially confirmed their relationship, a source close to the duo shed some light on the matter, clarifying previous reports. "Samantha would never start a relationship with a married man. She got into a relationship with Raj two years ago, when he had separated from his wife and was living alone," the insider claimed.
The source also refuted claims that Raj shares a child with his ex-wife, Shhyamali De, stating, “This is a fabrication. Raj has no children from his former wife.” Despite the ongoing buzz, the source indicated that Samantha prefers to keep her private life away from the spotlight, stating, “She doesn’t intend to speak about it.”
