One of the versatile actors who can ace any genre with his incredible acting skills, Saif Ali Khan has entertained us in many roles and characters. The actor recently underwent an elbow surgery on Monday at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

On January 22, Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani Hospital after his old injury left him in unbearable pain again. He underwent a last-minute surgery, which somehow healed the wounds.

The actor, who was discharged on Tuesday, is currently happy and healthy.

According to reports, the 53-year-old actor needed the operation since his old injury flared up during a recent film shoot. Saif Ali Khan was reportedly injured on the sets of Vishal bhardwaj's Rangoon. The film also featured Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor in key roles.

The following day, he was discharged and was spotted in public with his actor wife, Kareena Kapoor, outside his Bandra home.

The Sacred Games actor spoke to the media and gave a little insight on his injury which led to a surgery.

"This injury and the surgery that followed are part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern," Saif revealed in a statement on Monday following surgery.

However, he did not elaborate much on the type of injury.

On the work front

The actor last appeared on screen in Om Raut's Adipurush, which starred Prabhas and Kriti Sanon. The action drama film Devara: Part 1, which is written and directed by Koratala Siva, will feature him next.
