Dhurandhar 2 teaser to be released with Border 2
The much-anticipated movie of 2026, Border 2, is nearing its release date, and fans have one more reason to look up to it. Reports suggest Aditya Dhar`s Dhurandhar 2 teaser is likely to be attached to the Sunny Deol starrer.
After taking 2025 by storm with its sensational box office response, fans are excited to see what Dhurandhar 2 has in store. What ended with an adrenaline rush, the second instalment will revolve around Ranveer Singh`s journey of becoming a spy.
There was recent buzz that the spy espionage drama`s sequel might be delayed. However, it has now been confirmed that everything remains unchanged and as per schedule.
While the trailer for Dhurandhar 2 is likely to drop by the end of February, the teaser will be revealed along with Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan`s patriotic war drama, which releases in cinemas on January 23.

A source close to the development quoted, “The idea is to replug the release date in the minds of cinema-going audiences. Dhurandhar 2 is confirmed for an Eid 2026 release; the teaser will re-establish the date with some newer visuals.”
“Both Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 are nationalistic films, and the team at Jio Studios wants to capitalise on the wave of patriotic cinema. The new cut of the teaser from the end credits of part one will be out digitally too, after a premiere on the big screen. For the beginners, it is a big-screen exclusive,” the source further claimed.
It seems this is the season of patriotic films, with Border 2 being in line, followed by Dhurandhar and Ikkis.

The patriotic war drama is a sequel to J.P. Dutta`s 1997 cult classic, Border. The second instalment will see a spectacular cast, including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty.
Also starring Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana, with Suniel Shetty and Akshaye Khanna`s cameos, Border 2 will release on January 23 in cinemas near you.
