Also known for his flamboyance apart from his incredible acting skills, Ranveer Singh and his fashion have always been a topic of discussion everywhere you go. During the recent promotional activity for his upcoming film
Jayeshbhai Jordaar, he answered some of the fan questions and obviously, some of which had to be about the way he dresses.
Till now, Ranveer was trolled and several comments were passed on his style. But when he decided to stop giving a damn about the
sneaky remarks and express himself, the
fashion critiques fell in love with his way of expression through fashion.
During a QnA on Twitter, one of the fans wrote about his dressing sense saying,
'Ranveer Singh's been doing met gala everyday for all these years.' To which the actor replied,
'I used to feel cagey about expressing myself. I felt judged. I would alter my way of being in accordance with the effects those judgements were having on me. At one point, I let that go. I was like, people are gonna judge anyway so you do you, dress the way you want and I'm glad that I have been able to evolve into a person who does that consistently now.'
Another fan asked him about his style secret, to which the
Padmaavat actor replied,
'It's not like I have plotted this persona being flamboyant in the way I dress or anything. It's just me. I love wearing colours. I love things that are bright and vibrant. I have come to realise over a period of time I am more attracted to the maximalist school. But when it comes to spaces, like a home or vanity van, I like it all to be very minimal, almost painfully minimal.'
Here's an unasked opinion about Singh's style quotient - his stylist Eka Lakhani and team have been doing a great job lately. Anyone can express through minimal fashion and luxury couture. But adorning colours, florals, patterns, and everything in between - only a few can pull off. Honestly, the way
