Rakhi Sawant even claimed to have embraced Islam as her religion after she shared pictures of her marriage with Adil Khan. She has changed her name and now, her name reads as
'Rakhi Sawant Fatima.' However, the twist in this controversy got interesting when the Dubai-based entrepreneur called the wedding 'fake' to a media channel.
Rakhi Sawant And Adil Khan's Marriage
As the actress announced her marriage to boyfriend Adil Khan, she claimed the marriage to have taken place on July 2, 2022, which is three months after knowing him. Her confirmation comes after Adil denied the marriage claims to a leading news channel.
On Wednesday, the Krazzy 4 actress took to Instagram and shared pictures of their wedding, which was officiated in a court. While Rakhi opted for a pink and beige lehenga, Adil donned casual wear. Rakhi Sawant On Getting Married To Adil Khan
Speaking to a leading media house, Rakhi said,
"Yes, I got married to Adil in July last year after three months of knowing him. We had a nikah ceremony and a court marriage. Since he stopped me from disclosing it, I remained tightlipped for the past seven months. He felt that it would get difficult to find a suitor for his sister if people got to know about our marriage. According to him, tum Rakhi Sawant ke saath judoge toh tumne badnaami lee hai (If you associate yourself with Rakhi Sawant then that means you have invited shame).'
She further added,
'A lot happened while I was away locked up inside the Bigg Boss Marathi 4 house recently. I will talk when the time is right. At this point, all I want is to save my marriage. I want the world to know that I am married to Adil. Main bahut pareshan hoon isliye logon ke saamne meri shaadi aana zaroori hai (I am worried hence people need to know about my wedding).'
Who Is Adil Khan Durrani?
Adil Khan is a businessman based in Mysore, Karnataka. He is the CEO of Mysore-based 'Used Cars.' Going by his Instagram profile, Adil seems to be a workaholic and loves to own expensive cars.
It all started when Adil approached Rakhi Sawant to be his girlfriend. She is six years elder than him. The businessman's family is yet to accept Rakhi as their daughter-in-law.
