Fans of the Krrish franchise have been eagerly waiting for an update on the fourth installment, and now, the wait is finally over! Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has officially confirmed that Krrish 4 is in the works. However, in a surprising twist, he also revealed that he won’t be directing the upcoming movie.
Rakesh Roshan has directed all the previous films in the Krrish franchise, starting with Koi... Mil Gaya (2003), followed by Krrish (2006), and Krrish 3 (2013). However, last year, the filmmaker revealed that he would not be directing any more films. Now, he has further clarified his decision, saying, “I have to pass on the baton.”
Explaining his reasoning, he said, “I should do it when I am in my senses so that I can oversee the process and ensure that the new director is doing it correctly. Tomorrow, if I am not in my senses and have to pass it on, I won’t know what they are making.” He also acknowledged that there is no guarantee that a film directed by him would be a blockbuster, adding, “It might be the other way around as well.”
