Raj Kundra has been in the news quite a lot recently. Ever since his arrest in 2021, he has been getting all sorts of reactions from people all over. His masked public appearances further created sparks among everyone as he continued to hide his face. Recently, he unmasked himself during the trailer launch of his film UT69, putting an end to the mask era. Now, he has again caught everyone's attention with a tweet about Shilpa Shetty.

Without any context or further information, Raj Kunda tweeted late on Thursday evening, "We have separated and kindly request that you give us time during this difficult period." Netizens started speculating if this was regarding his relationship with his wife, Shilpa Shetty. While many others called it out for being another publicity stunt for his upcoming film UT69.

One user wrote, "Don't worry guys , they are separated means. Face Mask and Raj Kundra now separated." Another one asked,"Separate means? Divorce?". A maximum number of people are calling it just a gimmick and publicity stunt for his film.

Raj Kundra will be acting in the film, playing the role himself, as he went to jail for over 3 months. The film shows his experience in Arthur Road Jail as he lived with other convicts.

At the trailer launch event, he said, "The film is about my 63 days in jail, from the day I entered that red gate to the day I came out. If Shilpa and I believed that if there was even an ounce of truth in the allegations and if I was guilty, then I would have my head hanging in shame. But I came out like a lion because I knew I had done no wrong. The matter is subjudice we have full faith in the judiciary."

Speaking more about the film, which is a satirical comedy based on true events in his life, he added, "When you bring a British citizen to the jail, everything becomes funny mdash the way you're given your food, watered down dal, the place to stay, it was tough. Even when I was writing it, I was wondering how did we reach here."

The film is directed by Shahnawaz Ali and is set to release on November 3.
