With the new month being days away, April already has exciting things for all movie lovers. Ajay Devgn returns as the sharp and witty income tax officer, Amay Patnaik, in Raid 2. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead.
The teaser of the much-awaited Raid 2 is out, and fans are loving the intensity, drama, thrills, and everything in between it has to offer. With just over a minute`s teaser, the upcoming thriller drama has promised yet another blockbuster of the year.
While Ajay Devgn plays the role of an IRS officer, Riteish Deshmukh will be seen playing a corrupt politician who is under the former`s radar. The teaser also gives a glimpse of Saurabh Shukla, who played the role of a corrupt politician in the first instalment.
The clip shows a glimpse of intense confrontation and tension between Ajay Devgn`s Patnaik and Ritiesh Deshmukh`s Dada Bhai as they fight for power and justice. The teaser further builds in a cinematic face-off, leaving the audience wanting more.

The Singham actor took to social media and shared the teaser, writing, "74th Raid, 4200 Crores. Iss baar baazi hogi sabse badi!" Have a look.
The teaser comes a day after Ajay took to Instagram and revealed the first poster of Raid 2, which had Deshmukh on it. In the same, the Ved actor was seen wearing a quintessential politician`s outfit – a kurta and a jacket with his hand held high.
Sharing the same, Ajay wrote, “Kanoon ka mohtaj nahi, kanoon ka malik hai Dada Bhai!"

The upcoming thriller drama is the second instalment of the infamous 2018 release, Raid. It was inspired by a real-life income tax raid conducted by the Income Tax Officers under the Indian Revenue Service office in 1980. The film received positive reviews from critics and fans alike.
Alongside Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh, the second instalment also stars Rajat Kapoor, Surpriya Pathak, Amil Sial, and Yashpal Sharma. Vaani Kapoor replaces Ileana D`Cruz in the film.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. Helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 will release on May 1 in cinemas near you.
