Pushpa 2 X reviews
The sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise released today, and the fans have been flooding social media with their thoughts on the same. Some think Fahadh Faasil stole the show; others think the second half was rather weak.
A member of the audience at the Hyderabad premiere wrote, "#Pushpa2 has a great first half with the right mix of entertainment and elevations. But the 2nd half is not as great with B2B action blocks and songs dominating the writing. AA’s another sensational performance; the movie is worth watching for him. Blockbuster."
Here`s how the Twitterati reacted:
1. All hail Fahadh Faasil
One user on X wrote, "#AlluArjun stole the show completely with his raw and rustic performance in this mass commercial template by Sukumar. #Pushpa2TheRule is highly supported by #FahadhFaasil, who deserves an applause for his acting. #RashmikaMandanna adds the required flavor. BGM works perfectly in the elevation scenes. Overall, an entertainer for a mass audience."

TERRIFIC #Pushpa2Review:#AlluArjun stole the show completely with his raw and rustic performance in this mass commercial template by Sukumar. #Pushpa2TheRule is highly supported by #FahadhFaasil who deserves an applause for his acting.… pic.twitter.com/MfTF9XPE5S
Another tweet also applauded Faasil`s acting as ACP Bhanwar Singh and read, "#FahadhFaasil as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS in #Pushpa2TheRule Back with a bang! UNMATCHABLE SCREEN PRESENCE. Theatres Going Crazy for #Fafa Entry Too."
2. A dragged-out second half
Yet another user found the second half of Pushpa 2 rather stretched unnecessarily. A user named Venky Reviews, who claims to be a film critic and a movie distributor, wrote, "The first half starts right where Part 1 ends. This half runs purely on drama, which feels slightly slow at times, but Pushpa’s characterisation and the dialogues run the show."
#Pushpa2 is a Decently Packaged Commercial Entertainer with a Good 1st Half and a 2nd Half that started well but drops pace significantly in the last hour.

The first half starts right where Part 1 ends. This half runs purely on drama which feels slightly slow at times but…
"The second half starts well, and the Jathara sequence came out superbly, but after this sequence, the film dips drastically in the last hour with no aim and gets dragged out till the end," he added.
