Actress Pooja Hegde has been garnering eyeballs for a shocking revelation about an unsettling event where she slapped her male co-star for inappropriately touching her. She recalled the incident which happened during the early phase of her career.
This happened when she was working on a major pan-Indian project. She shared that working on the project was kind of a breakthrough moment in her career. The cherry on top was working with a megastar, whose name Pooja chose not to reveal.
“I was extremely excited when I got that film. It felt like a big opportunity and gave me a lot of confidence,” she shared.

However, the excitement soon turned into distress following an unexpected incident during the shoot. Recalling the horrific incident, Hegde said the male actor entered her caravan without her consent and behaved inappropriately.
“A few years ago, while working on a big pan-Indian film, a star hero entered my caravan without permission and tried to touch me inappropriately,” she recalled.
Calling it a mentally disturbing moment, the Mohenjo Daro actress added, “I was extremely uncomfortable. I didn’t know how to react initially." She, being new to the industry, didn`t know how to handle such situations.
She eventually reacted strongly and recalled, “I immediately slapped him. After that incident, he never worked with me again.”
Pooja Hegde said the actor immediately left the caravan after the confrontation. Following the incident, she made it clear to the filmmakers that she would never work with the co-star again.
As a result, the remaining portions of the film were shot by a body double. “I decided I wouldn’t tolerate that kind of behaviour,” she explained.
Despite the serious allegations, Pooja chose not to reveal the name of the actor. Her shocking revelation has left many wondering who this star could possibly be.
