Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga: 2nd song from Half-Girlfriend is typical Mithoon

The makers of ‘Half Girlfriend’ released the second song of the film. Titled ‘Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga’, the song is pretty much like most songs from Mohit Suri’s filmography. The track is very much reminiscent of ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from ‘Aashiqui 2’ or ‘Galliyaan’ from ‘Ek Villain’. Yet, the saving grace of the rather mediocre composition are the soothing vocals of Arijit Singh and Shashaa Tirupati. ‘Half Girlfriend’ is the official adaptation of author Chetan Bhagat’s novel by the same name and it stars Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty and Vikrant Massey in key roles. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film hits theatres on May 19th, 2017. To watch the music video, click here.
