With some highly anticipated Bollywood movies releasing in January 2023, this is going to be an interesting battle between big-budgeted posters versus some meaningful scripts. From Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan to Arjun Kapoor's Kuttey, let's see which upcoming Bollywood releases made it to the list.

1. Adipurush - 12th January

The pan-Indian release starring Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh is a modern take on the Indian mythological event Ramayana. While Kriti plays the role of Sita, Saif will play the antagonist Raavan. Adipurush releases on January 12 in the cinemas near you.

2. Kuttey - 13th January

Starring Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Konkana Sen Sharma, and Naseeruddin Shah - the Vishal Bhardwaj movie looks promising and how. The mystery-comedy is full of solving puzzles while sitting on a roller-coaster of madness and laughter. With a strong cast, the trailer sure looks promising. Kuttey releases on January 13 in the cinemas near you.

3. Mission Majnu - 20th January

The Sidharth Malhotra starrer is yet another January 2023 release that's kept Bollywood fans eager. Mission Majnu marks Rashmika Mandanna's second Bollywood movie after Goodbye. Based on a true story of an undercover agent, this Bollywood film will see an OTT release on Netflix on January 20.

4. Pathaan - 25th January

This one is the most anticipated Bollywood release everyone has been waiting for. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in lead, Pathaan is a spy-thriller that will see some kickass action. While its songs have been garnering mixed reviews, SRK fans are hooting and cheering to see the actor's ripped body. Pathaan will release on January 25 in the cinemas near you.

5. Tehran - 26th January

Yet another action-packed John Abraham movie in January 2023 to keep you hooked and how. Also featuring Manushi Chillar- here's hoping this one to be her breakthrough in Bollywood. Tehran will see its theatrical release on Republic Day.

6. Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh - 26th January

Speaking of interesting scripts over big banners, Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh seems to tick off creating curiosity just by its name. A fictional movie where Mahatma Gandhi and his killer Nathuram Godse meet after the former survives the attack and what their conversation entails is sure something we'd like to start the first month of the new year with. Yet another Republic Day release, Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh will release on 26th January.
