Pathaan Controversy: Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone`s Effigies Burnt In Indore

Pathaan’s song Besharam Rang is out starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The actors are seen in a never-before-seen avatar. The song quickly became a huge trend since it was released. However, it seems Pathaan makers have now landed in a controversy for the same.
Yesterday, Madhya Pradesh minister Narrottam Mishra said that the song Besharam Rang is highly objectionable and has demanded changes. The whole controversy revolves around the `saffron` costume that Deepika wore in the song. As well as the scenes shown are objectionable.
Recently, in a media interaction, he said that the song has been shot with a dirty mindset. He said that there must be some changes in the songs or they will take a decision on its screening in Madhya Pradesh. The saffron-colored bikini that Deepika Padukone has worn in the song is not even light orange or saffron it`s rather a deep shade of burnt orange. Many people have given it a religious angle with Shah Rukh Khan being a Muslim actor. Even the fact that the actor is wearing Green Shirt came under the scanner.
You will be shocked to know that the members of an outfit called “Veer Shivaji Group” burnt the effigies of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone at a chowk in Indore.
They have asked people to remove the objectionable scenes and take notice of how the use of saffron bikinis demeans Hinduism. This is not the first time that a Deepika Padukone movie has been criticized. The film is going to release on January 25, 2023, in theatres. It is just over a month. Let’s see what happens next.
