Pahuna: First Look of Priyanka Chopra’s Sikkimese film out

After having lent her name behind Bhojpuri, Marathi and Punjabi films, Priyanka Chopra returns to production with Sikkimese film ‘Pahuna’.
Her production house Purple Pebble Pictures released a still of the film at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2017, which will be directed by former actress Pakhi A Tyrewala, whom you may recollect from the John Abraham-starrer ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’.
Featuring cast and crew who hail from Sikkim, ‘Pahuna’ is a story about three Nepali children who get separated from their parents, while fleeing the Maoist agitation from Nepal to Sikkim. Pakhi is currently working upon the post production of the film, which is likely to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, later this year.
Priyanka, is currently gearing up for the release of her Hollywood debut, ‘Baywatch’ opposite Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
