Celebrity personality Orry, popularly known as Orhan Awatramani, has once again found himself in the spotlight—this time for a far more serious reason.
The social media star, often seen partying with Bollywood’s biggest names, has been summoned by the Mumbai Police in connection with an alleged ₹252-crore international drug trafficking case.
His name surfaced during an ongoing investigation into a massive narcotics network that has already led to multiple arrests.
According to police officials, Orry was summoned after his phone number allegedly appeared in the call records of the primary accused, indicating possible communication with individuals under investigation.
While this does not automatically imply direct involvement, the authorities are treating every lead with equal seriousness due to the scale of the case.

Police sources stated that Orry has been asked to appear before investigators to clarify his connection, if any, with the accused individuals. The summons reportedly came after technical analysis linked several celebrities to the contacts of the accused, prompting the police to expand the scope of inquiry.
Officials confirmed, "He has been called to assist with the investigation. His statement will help us understand the nature of communication reflected in the records."
Another official added, "We are verifying all possible angles. No one is being treated as guilty without examination."
The case itself revolves around a sophisticated narcotics syndicate believed to have routed drugs across multiple states using encrypted communication channels and digital wallets.
Mumbai Police, in collaboration with other agencies, has been working for months to trace money trails, digital footprints, and supplier networks. Over ₹250 crore worth of transactions reportedly linked to illegal drug dealings are under scrutiny.
Orry, who has become a Gen-Z cultural figure for his glamorous presence across Bollywood circles, has not issued any official statement so far. His Instagram, normally buzzing with fashion content and celebrity appearances, remains quiet following reports of the summons.
As the investigation moves forward, Orry`s appearance before the police is expected to provide further clarity on whether his name came up merely through incidental contact or if there are deeper links waiting to be uncovered.
For now, Mumbai Police maintains that the inquiry is still unfolding and all individuals connected through the accused’s communication logs will be questioned.
