However, a source close to the development rubbished the divorce rumors and told Hindustan Times that Nayanthara and Vignesh are “going strong” and "cherishing every moment" with their twins.
“Contrary to the reports, the couple is not going through a tough time. Instead, they are going strong and enjoying, as well as cherishing, every moment spent with their kids—Uyir and Ulagam, who have brought them closer in so many ways,” said the source.
The two started dating soon, and they painted the town red with their mushy PDA pictures on social media. The couple tied the knot on June 9, 2022. It was an intimate ceremony, with close friends and family in attendance.
Celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Ajith Kumar, and Vijay Sethupathi made it to the guest list. Nayanthara and Vignesh welcomed their twin sons via surrogacy in October 2022.
