Metro In Dino First Look
The anticipation is palpable as the makers of "Metro In Dino" have officially unveiled the first look of the film, accompanied by a tantalising teaser for its debut song, ‘Zamaana Lage’. This glimpse into Anurag Basu’s upcoming cinematic world reintroduces audiences to the interconnected lives within a bustling metropolis, promising a fresh take on love and relationships. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Anupam Kher, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee.
The teaser for the song "Zamaana Lage" offers a glimpse of the cast, highlighting their emotional journeys as they navigate the complexities of modern love. At the heart of the reveal is the teaser for ‘Zamaana Lage’, a track poised to explore modern love and the emotional struggles of the characters. This musical piece marks a significant collaboration between acclaimed composer Pritam and filmmaker Anurag Basu. Sung by the soulful Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, the entire soundtrack is a Pritam composition.
Music director Pritam shared his vision for the song, stating, "With Qaisar Ul Jafri`s timeless poetry, we wanted to revive the ghazal as a form – not as nostalgia, but as something emotionally alive and relevant today – and bring it into the mainstream. With its rich history and timeless depth, we felt it doesn`t always have to live in a classical soundscape. A ghazal can be pop – it can be modern in sound and structure while still holding on to its poetic soul. That`s what we`ve tried to do with this song: reimagine the ghazal for today`s generation." Pritam aims to modernise the ghazal form in the song`s composition, which is built around Indian poet Qaisar Ul Jafri`s poignant line, "Tumhaare sheher ka mausam bada suhana lage," with additional lyrics by Sandeep Shrivastava.
