Sriram Raghavan's movie was originally going to release in 2022. However, it was postponed to 2023. Merry Christmas will now see a theatrical release on December 15, 2023. Katrina and
Vijay shared the new posters for the film on their respective social media handles.

Merry Christmas poster went up, it piqued the audience's interest. Katrina and Vijay can be seen with a serious look. The movie's poster gives off vintage Bombay vibes. Reportedly, the crime thriller revolves around an uneventful day that turns the lead actors' lives upside down.
It is about an event that takes place on Christmas Eve. The actors shared posters of their Instagram handles in Hindi and Tamil. The tagline on the Merry Christmas poster read,
"Raat jitni sageen hogi, subah utni rageen hogi."

About Merry Christmas
The Hindi version of the
crime thriller also features Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinu Anand in prominent roles. Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte will be seen in exciting cameos.
The Tamil version stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in the same roles. Helmed by Sriram Raghavan, Merry Christmas will release on December 15, 2023.
