Makers of Pushpa 2 Unveil Srivalli’s First Look on Rashmika Mandanna’s Birthday
Rashmika Mandanna is celebrating her birthday today, April 5th. To mark this special occasion, the makers of her highly anticipated film `Pushpa: The Rule` have released a poster featuring the actress` first look as Srivalli.
The official X handle of the upcoming movie shared the poster, which showcases Rashmika`s character, Srivalli, in the film. Sharing Srivalli’s new look, the filmmakers wrote, “Wishing the nation’s heartthrob `Srivalli` aka @iamRashmika a very Happy Birthday, #Pushpa2TheRuleTeaser on April 8th, #PushpaMassJaathara. #Pushpa2TheRule Grand Release Worldwide on 15th AUG 2024. The poster shows the actress wearing a beautiful saree adorned with gold jewellery. Srivalli has a fierce look in her eyes, and she’s sporting a sindoor, hinting at her character`s plot progression in the Pushpa sequel. It suggests that Srivalli will marry Pushpa, Allu Arjun`s character in the movie, and the plot will explore her life after their marriage.

In a previous interview, Rashmika teased the fans that the sequel will be even bigger than ever, more so than the previous film. She stated, “I can promise you that Pushpa 2 is going to be so much bigger. We gave some madness in the first film; in part 2, we know we have a responsibility because people have so much expectation from the film. We are constantly and consciously trying to deliver that. I just shot for a song for Pushpa 2, and I was just like, ‘How are you guys thinking about this?’ Everyone is so driven to make a good film. All of us have gone all out and are enjoying the process. It’s a story that has no end; you can lead it any which way. It is fun.”

The shooting for the upcoming movie is currently underway in Vizag, with rumours suggesting that Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Sanjay Dutt will make cameo appearances. Furthermore, it has been reported that Janhvi Kapoor, the Devara actress, will feature in an item number in Pushpa: The Rule. In addition to Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the movie features Sai Pallavi, Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, and Priyamani in supporting roles. The film is scheduled to release in theatres across India on Independence Day, August 15th.
