Kriti Sanon is among the finest actresses working in the industry today. With films like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Mimi, she has emerged as someone who can mesmerize audiences with her screen presence. Last year, her performance in Bhediya received critical acclaim.

During Koffee With Karan 7, she was asked if she feels jealous of her contemporaries, including Alia Bhatt, who is considered the best actor working today. She recently addressed the question again, as her clip from the episode has been going viral.

In the interview, she said, "Honestly, both of us winning the National Award together was sort of an answer to everything. If you're given good opportunities, no matter where you come from, if you have the talent, you're going to make it. So, it's all about getting the opportunities, and great opportunities like Mimi and Gangubai don't come every day. So, I hope people write more stuff like that."

Earlier in October, Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt won the National Film Award for their performances in Mimi and Gangubai Kathiawadi, respectively. Kriti had shared a photo of herself posing with Alia Bhatt, along with other pictures from the ceremony, on her Instagram page.

During KWK 7, Kriti gracefully responded to the question by saying how looking at her contemporaries inspires her to do her work better. She had said, "Of course, it drives me it inspires me to do better. When you see great work, you also feel, 'I would love to have an opportunity like that'. When Mimi came to me as an opportunity, it gave me the confidence to put in so much."

Kriti Sanon was part of three films this year. Starting the year with Shehzada, alongside Kartik Aaryan, the film didn't do well at the box office. Further, her two other releases also didn't fare well and received mixed responses.

Moving ahead, she has three films in her kitty. She is filming for Do Patti, which she is also producing. Along with that, she will be seen in The Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor and Tabu.
