The third episode of Koffee With Karan 8 aired on Thursday at 12 am on Disney Hotstar. Featuring the actresses Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, Karan Johar went in deep about relationships, friendships and career decisions. During the same, Sara Ali Khan spoke at length about her break up with Kartik Aaryan.

Karan highlighted that the two had dated Kartik Aaryan in the past. To which Sara expressed how difficult it was to mvoe on after the split with Kartik Aaryan in 2020.
She said, "I don't want to say that ya, it's all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn't always easy.

Further she added, "When you are involved with anybody, whether it's friends, professionally, or romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, 'Oh yeah, it doesn't really matter, whatever its today, whatever it's tomorrow'. It's not like that. It does affect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that."

While connecting it with relationships and bonds made in the film industry, she said, "Something I have realized without sounding semi-negative, is that there are no permanent predicaments in this business. In my personal experience, there is no point making permanent best friendships, pinky promises, saying I'll never talk to you again. All these nevers and always nahi hota."

Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan were rumoured to be dating when they started shooting for Love Aaj Kal 2 in 2020. However, soon they were stopped seeing together and reports of their split started coming in. Now, Sara spoke at length for the first time about her time with Kartik Aaryan.

After their break up in romatic relationship, Kartik and Sara continue to remains friends. Sara says it is not always easy to do so.

After this, Karan Johar also spoke candidly about his fall-outs with Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in the past and how they fixed it all.

The third episode was the most fun of the three and Ananya and Sara kept things exciting while also being vulnerable at times. It was a perfect combination of thrills and emotions.
