The newest episode of Koffee With Karan 8 had two of the most successful actors working in the industry today. They represent the faces of the emerging talents in Bollywood. Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani came together on the show and spilled many beans on marriage, life, and beyond.

Both of them revealed some inside details in terms of their work and their relationship with their partners.

Here are three revelations made by the two during the late episode of Koffee With Karan 8, hosted by Karan Johar.

1) When Sidharth Malhotra proposed to Kiara with the lines from Shershah

Kiara Advani revealed that when Sidharth made an appearance on the show in the last season, he had just come from a family vacation in Rome. During that time, Kiara believed that he would propose to her and asked him to talk to her parents first. Unfortunately, her mother couldn't come on the trip due to her being sick.

One day, as they were returning from dinner with Sidharth's nephew, he proposed to her. She recalled, "We go back after dinner. He takes me up for a walk, and suddenly a violinist comes out of the bushes playing, and sweetly, his nephew takes our video from the bushes, and Sid goes on one knee and proposes."

Further, she said, "I was so overwhelmed. Then he starts saying the lines of Shershaah. He's like, 'Dilli ka seedha saadha launda hun', with the full dialogues of Shershaah, and I burst out laughing."

2) When Shah Rukh Khan apologized to Vicky Kaushal during the Dunki shoot

Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in the Rajkumar Hirani film Dunki, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. In Koffee With Karan, he revealed that Shah Rukh Khan apologized to him when he couldn't be there on shoot one day.

He said, "One of the shoot days, he had to rush for some important work. There was a critical moment for my character, which was with him. He couldn't be there for that shot. I had to give that shot with a body double. Late in the night, he called me, and I missed that call. Then he sent me a long message saying, 'We'll shoot it again. I am really sorry I couldn't be there to give the cues."

Vicky explained to him that Raju Hirani was okay with the shot and that there was no need to shoot it again. However, Shah Rukh Khan was convinced only when he saw the shot the next day.

Vicky reflected, "I meet him, and I realize how little I am doing at this age."

3) Vicky Kaushal's Last Minute Proposal to Katrina

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have been happily married since 2021. In the episode, Vicky revealed how he had made a last-minute proposal to Katrina. Just a night before their wedding, during a casual dinner, Vicky went on his knees and proposed to her. Along with that, Vicky also revealed what he gifted her on their first anniversary.

It was an artwork that now hangs on the wall of their home, symbolizing their mutual love and togetherness.
