Helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the visually intense period action drama is rooted in war, reincarnation, and leadership.

The teaser opens with a gruesome sight of flames flickering against the backdrop of an East India Company ship, a battlefield drenched with blood, and a sense of unending wreckage.
The visuals hint at a world where survival is a struggle and power is claimed only through sacrifice. As the teaser continues, it introduces the core character – Vijay Deverakonda in a rugged new avatar. He seems to play the role of a reincarnated warrior destined to change his people`s fate.

Glimpses of the tribal community, military ruthlessness, and sequences set in prison suggest multiple layers to the story. Kingdom appears to be a cinematic blend of history and mythology where references are drawn from heroic warriors who fought for their tribe.
Producer Naga Vamsi has confirmed that Kingdom will be released in two parts, indicating an expansive narrative beyond a single film.

Apart from its stunning visuals and intense action-packed sequences, the film promises to be high on emotions. While the makers have hyped up the Vijay Deverakonda action period drama, here are three reasons that make Kingdom one of the most anticipated South movies.
1. The star power
Apart from Deverakonda, the film brings together Ranbir Kapoor, Jr NTR, and Suriya. The three superstars will be lending their voices for the Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil versions of the Kingdom teaser, respectively.
Adding more to that is the musical maestro Anirudh Ravichander, who has composed an electrifying background score. This strategic move enhances a pan-Indian effect on the movie, ensuring a wider reach and creating maximum buzz.
