Kareena Kapoor spoke strong words about actors who are obsessed with being stars. She didn't name anyone, however, which was clear in her affirmation. Kareena Kapoor was part of the Actors' Roundtable at Film Companion along with other actors like Bobby Deol, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Vikrant Massey, among others.
Kareena has praised her cousin Ranbir Kapoor many times in the past. Even in the roundtable, she brought up his reference and called him a phenomenal actor. When she was asked if one needs to be a good actor to be a great star, she replied, "I'm so happy that we are finally there. Being a good actor and a big star goes like hand in glove."
Further, she added, "If you are great and talented and people have liked you and connected with you, stardom will follow. It is not like, 'Oh, he has got six-pack abs he is looking so hot he is a big star.' Arree, please, yaar! Sometimes, I feel like telling those actors, 'Please wear your T-shirt first. I can't even look at you right now.'"

Kareena also showered praise on Bobby Deol when she spoke about how good acting determines your survival in the industry. She said, "Now Bobby is doing different characters. Now he is exploring his talent, which he always had, and finally he's getting this opportunity. You can't shut a good actor."
Bobby Deol left everyone surprised with his negative role in Animal. He has been getting a lot of love ever since the film's release on December 1.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor has had a good year in terms of her varied characters in the films that she has done this year. She was last seen in Jaane Jaan, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, which also starred Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Apart from that, her film, The Buckingham Murders, was applauded at international film festivals. It is directed by Hansal Mehta and will be released soon.
She will next be seen in The Crew alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The film is scheduled to be released next year.
