Kareena Kapoor Khan`s Dietician Reveals Her Dieting Routine of 18 Years

Kareena Kapoor Khan, an undisputed diva and versatile actor, is equally celebrated for her enduring fitness. While her rigorous workout routine, including yoga, strength training, Pilates, and cardio, is well-known, her diet plays a pivotal role in maintaining her physique. Despite being a self-proclaimed foodie from a Punjabi family, her daily diet has remained remarkably consistent since 2007.
Kareena`s daily food intake is surprisingly relatable and far from the quinoa and air rumours she jokingly addressed. Her routine typically involves:
Diwekar emphasised, "She mostly eats khichdi with ghee for 4-5 days for dinner." Kareena herself calls khichdi her "comfort food" and admits she "can’t sleep at night if she knows that the dish is not in her diet." Interestingly, even during her infamous size zero phase, Kareena "needed aloo paratha with white makkhan every 2-3 days."

A Dietitian`s Revelation: The Unchanging Food Routine
Kareena`s long-time dietician, Rujuta Diwekar, recently shed light on the actress`s diet secrets in an interview. Diwekar, who has worked with Kareena since her "size zero" days for Tashan (2008), revealed, "Kareena Kapoor kya khati hai yeh toh meri pehli book ka contract hi wohi mila hai. 2007, so we met, and tab se same hi khati hai."Kareena`s daily food intake is surprisingly relatable and far from the quinoa and air rumours she jokingly addressed. - Upon waking: Dry fruits like almonds, raisins, or figs.
- Breakfast: Paratha or poha.
- Lunch: Dal and rice.

At the launch of Diwekar’s book Mitahara: Food Wisdom From My Indian Kitchen, Kareena affirmed, “Dinner by 6 pm, lights out by 9:30 pm, morning workouts before the world wakes up.” She also revealed her preference for low-key evenings, often winding down by watching Schitt`s Creek.
