Kangana Ranaut has already done two films this year as an actor. One was Chandramukhi 2 and the one one Tejas got released today. In Tejas, she plays a pilot and it is a patriotic action film. Apart from that, she also produced the film, Tiku Weds Shiru which starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur.

Now, she has announced her future projects and the Queen actor has a glorious year ahead. She will be starting the shoot for Tanu Weds Manu 3 which is a popular franchise starring her and R. Madhavan. Apart from that, she said that she will be seen in yet another thriller with Vijay Sethupathi.

Moreover, she will turn director with the film Emergency where she also plays Indira Gandhi. It is slated to release in January.

Speaking more about the Tanu Weds Manu franchise, she said, "I would want to work with Anand L. Rai ji again, who did Tanu Weds Manu Returns. I don't get to do too many comedies. I was telling sir that, for me, it was never like a film. It was a picnic that I was a part of. All my films are always so intense. I just kind of need a break, probably that's why."

Further she also shared her thoughts on her career and how she sees the stage where she is at right now.

She said, "My involvement as an individual into my films. At one point, I was really concerned with the finance of my craft, and I wanted to get very good at it as an actor. I love being called a good actor. But after working for 17-18 years, my prerogative is to indulge more in the audiences as opposed to my own talent. I care a lot about how my film is going to connect with them."

She further said how Queen was an important film in her career. It changed her destiny forever, according to her. In the film, Kangana played a woman who realizes her true self as she goes on a honeymoon alone.

Her performance in the film was well-appreciated and since then, she has gone to give many more powerful performances.
