Juhi Chawla Reacts To Salman Khan`s Marriage Proposal: "Even Today He Won`t Miss A Chance"

Salman Khan and his affairs can be a three-hour-long Bollywood movie that will features several actresses. With his upcoming release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, the actor is back at the top of the controversial charts. Speaking of controversies, we dug an old but gold video of Salman Khan talking about his love for actress Juhi Chawla. Did you know, he`d even asked Juhi`s father to marry her but the proposal was rejected?

In a recent interview, Juhi Chawla reacted to Salman Khan`s comment on sending her a marriage proposal and why the two never worked together on the big screen. In fact, in the same interview, the actress even revealed rejecting a movie opposite Salman where she was approached to play the lead.
The Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak actress revealed she knew very little about Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. She said, “Back in the day, when I had just started out in my career, and when Salman was not THE Salman Khan, a film had come my way that had him as the lead actor. In fact, I didn’t know anyone properly back then – not him, not Aamir (Khan), or anyone else in the industry. Incidentally, I couldn’t do the film because of some issue.”

Both actors started their careers almost at the same time. While Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak marked Juhi`s big Bollywood debut, Salman entered the industry with Biwi Ho Toh Aisi. Both these movies were released in 1988. However, throughout the span of their careers, the duo has never shared a screen together, except for Salman`s cameo in Juhi`s Deewana Mastana. The movie also starred Anil Kapoor and Govinda.
Further sharing how Salman taunts her even today about rejecting a movie with him, she said, “And to this day, he doesn’t leave one chance to remind me of it! ‘You didn’t do the film with me,’ he keeps saying. We hardly worked on films together but we did a lot of stage shows. He had a cameo in Deewana Mastana.”
As for Salman Khan, he is all set for his upcoming release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The movie will release on April 21 in cinemas near you.
