Director Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari is coming back with the sequel of Ishq Vishk to take you down memory lane. Yes, you heard it right! Ishq Vishk Rebound will be coming with some new faces and they will make you feel nostalgic.

Helmed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari and produced by Ramesh Taurani, Ishq Vishk Rebound will be starring Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grewal.

In another 2000's rom-com clicheacute, the first part of the movie revolved around college teens and their naiumlve infatuation.

Shahid played Rajiv in the rom-com Ishq Vishk, who is often mocked by his buddies for not having a girlfriend. To obtain popularity in college, he lies about his love to Payal (Amrita Rao). Later in an outing, his friends intoxicate him and he tries to molest her. Realizing the lies, Payal chooses her self-worth over him. Thereafter, Rajiv moved on to be with one of the hottest girls of college played by Shehnaz Treasurywala. However, after realizing the comfort that he and Payal shared, he publicly proposes to her, and the two stay happily ever after.

In the sequel, Rohit Saraf will be imbibing Shahid Kapoor's role. He was recently seen in a romantic web series Mismatched, for which he garnered recognition and became the national crush. In Dear Zindagi, he made his first appearance as a supporting actor.

Amrita Rao's character will be played by Pashmina Roshan. For the unversed, Pashmina is Hrithik Roshan's cousin and daughter of music director Rajesh Roshan and Kanchan Roshan. The sequel marks her Bollywood debut, and many from the industry wished her all the luck.
