Insider reveals if Yash is angry with Ranveer Singh
Ever since the much-anticipated clash of Toxic vs Dhurandhar: The Revenge was announced, fans couldn`t help but wait with bated breath to see who would dominate the box office. Ranveer Singh`s sequel and Yash`s power-packed actioner were to go head-to-head before the makers of Toxic pushed the release date.
The Kannada action-drama was originally slated to release in cinemas on March 19. This was announced way before Aditya Dhar booked the date for his spy espionage blockbuster`s sequel.
However, amid the ongoing tensions and conflicts in the Middle East, the makers of Toxic decided to push the same, citing the desire to achieve a much wider reach in the region.
As fans were eagerly looking forward to the clash, speculations of Yash being upset with Ranveer and Aditya started doing the rounds. But now that Toxic has been pushed to June 4, an insider reveals if the South superstar is still upset.
Is Yash upset with the makers of Dhurandhar 2?
According to a report shared by Bollywood Hungama, the news of the Kannada superstar being angry with Singh was false. The insider rubbished the rumours, saying Yash, in fact, is pretty excited for Dhar`s sequel.

A source close to the development said, “Yash loved Dhurandhar and is looking forward to Part 2. All the rivalry, anxiety and competitiveness is created by outsiders desirous of juicing the so-called competition between the two films."
"Now, Toxic has moved forward not for fear of competition. But for the escalated war situation in the Gulf and UAE, which Dhurandhar 2 needn’t fear at all. Part 2 will be banned in Muslim countries just like Part 1 was,” the source added.
The release date of Dhurandhar 2 remains the same – March 19. It will now clash with Pawan Kalyan`s Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
Why was the Toxic release date pushed?
Last week, the KGF actor took to his official Instagram account and announced that his much-anticipated film`s release date has been pushed.
The Geetu Mohandas directorial, which also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria, will now see a theatrical release on June 4.

A part of Yash`s note read, "After years of dedicated labour, we were excited to share our film with you all on the 19th of March. However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience. Therefore, in the interest of our partners and our audience, we have made the difficult but carefully considered decision to reschedule our release. We thank you for your understanding and patience and look forward to your continued love and support.”
Yash concluded with, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups will now be released in cinemas across the globe in English and Indian languages on 4th June 2026.”
