The two lovebirds are all set to enter a new chapter of their lives. While the star kid and the fitness enthusiast would like to keep it simple with having a registered marriage, the Khan family is rather enthusiastic to follow all the cultural rituals.

"Today, we took Mehendi to Nupur's house. We did the mehendi ceremony. We all decided to wear a navari with a big nath. We dressed up fully Maharashtrian," Nikhat said.
She also revealed how the
Laal Singh Chadha actor is learning to sing at his daughter's wedding. The family members will also be dancing and singing wedding songs to the dhol music.
"It will be a more casual sangeet we will be playing dhol and singing all wedding songs. Aamir is learning to sing as well. However, for the wedding songs, it is only the ladies who will be performing. Our family from Banaras, Lucknow, and Delhi has come. Reena's side family has come down from Delhi and Punjab," Nikhat further added.
A non-traditional wedding for Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare
The
Bollywood bride and groom are all set to have a non-traditional wedding. There will neither be Maharashtrian nor Muslim rituals to be followed. In fact, Ira and Nupur are keeping it simple with just a registered marriage followed by a sangeet for friends.
The couple will be tying the knot on January 3, after which they will head to Udaipur.
"Udaipur's plan is all for Ira and Nupur's friends, and we will be going along. There we will have sangeet and mehendi, but not the Maharashtrian style wedding it is only a registered marriage," Nikhat Khan Hegde confirmed.

It was a not-so-
filmy love story for the lovebirds. Unlike her father, Ira has always stayed away from the limelight. On the other hand, Nupur is a professional fitness coach.
The two met during the pandemic lockdown when Ira Khan was stying with her father, Aamir Khan. She got in touch with Nupur Shikhare, who is a professional trainer, to help improve her lifestyle.
In the process, Ira and Nupur fell in love, and the rest is history.
