The 25th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards took place in Jaipur on March 8 and 9, 2025. The grand celebration brought together Bollywood’s biggest stars, honoring the best in Indian cinema. The event kicked off on Saturday with an awards ceremony dedicated to the finest achievements in OTT films and series. The main event on Sunday was attended by top Bollywood celebrities, making it a night to remember.
The IIFA night was filled with electrifying performances. Kareena Kapoor Khan paid tribute to her grandfather, the legendary Raj Kapoor, in a heartfelt performance. The highlight of the evening, however, was the much-awaited on-stage reunion of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. The duo, once a beloved on-screen pair, shared a warm hug, leaving fans nostalgic. Other stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Nora Fatehi, and Kartik Aaryan, also set the stage on fire with their dazzling performances.

Laapataa Ladies Dominates the Night
The biggest winner of the evening was Laapataa Ladies, which bagged an impressive 10 awards, including Best Picture and Best Direction. Kiran Rao’s directorial brilliance was recognized, and the film’s cast and crew took home multiple accolades. The film’s lead, Nitanshi Goel, won Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female), further solidifying the movie’s dominance at IIFA 2025.The IIFA night was filled with electrifying performances.
