Esha Gupta Breaks Silence On Almost Dating Hardik Pandya
Jannat 2 actress Esha Gupta has made quite a few headlines, but this time, she has taken the internet by storm after admitting to `almost dating` cricketer Hardik Pandya. The two were an item back in the day, but it never translated to a real relationship.
The diva sat down with Siddharth Kannan for a candid chat and spoke at length about her personal life, including her chemistry with Hardik and why things ended.
The Indian cricketer has frequently been associated with Bollywood actresses. In fact, he was married to Natasa Stankovic; however, they got a divorce in 2024.

The actress opened up about her personal life with Kannan on his YouTube channel and finally broke silence about her rumoured relationship with Pandya. She revealed they were in a "maybe it will happen" phase before the two called it off.
“Yeah, for some time we were talking. I don’t think we were dating, but yeah, we were talking for a couple of months. "We were at that ‘maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t’ stage," Esha said.

She continued, "It ended before we even reached the dating stage. So it wasn’t dating-dating. We met once or twice; that’s it. So yeah, as I said, it was a couple of months, and then it ended."
When asked if a relationship between the two was ever a possibility, she candidly replied, "Maybe it could have happened," but things fizzled out quickly. “There was no drama or bitterness. It just wasn’t meant to be,” she added.
Esha Gupta on Hardik Pandya`s Koffee With Karan fiasco
Whenever the Indian all-rounder is mentioned, you can`t not talk about his controversy surrounding the Koffee With Karan episode where he shared the couch with KL Rahul.
What became a huge controversy back in 2019 continues to haunt Hardik. But when asked the Rustom actress about the same, she said the two were no longer in touch; hence, the backlash didn`t impact her much.
What`s interesting is Esha was one of the few celebrities who openly called the episode out for its misogynistic tone.
On the work front, Esha Gupta was last seen in Ek Badnaam Aashram 3 Part 2, a web series that also starred Bobby Deol. She also played DCP Laxmi Rathi in One Day: Justice Delivered.
It is believed that she might have joined the cast of Hera Pheri 3; however, an official confirmation is awaited.
