Emraan Hashmi to play Bade Sahab in Dhurandhar 2?
The anticipation for Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been high ever since the teaser of the film was released earlier this year. After a monstrous box office success of the first part, fans are waiting with bated breath for the sequel.
With Ranveer Singh reprising his role as Hamza Ali Mazari, the sequel will talk about his transition from Jaskirat Singh Rangi – an Indian spy – to a Pakistani underworld ruler, who is on a mission to infiltrate the terror activities in Karachi.
Now, reports suggest this Bollywood actor might be roped in to play Bade Sahab in Aditya Dhar`s spy espionage drama. If it`s true, the stakes just got higher!
Is Emraan Hashmi to play Bade Sahab in Dhurandhar 2?
In the first instalment, the character of Bade Sahab only created a sense of mystery, leaving fans wondering who is the missing piece of the puzzle. It is speculated that Bade Sahab could be a reference to underworld figures such as Dawood Ibrahim or Masood Azhar.

Amid the intrigue, a social networking platform named Letterboxd may have accidentally revealed who is likely to play the part.
The Dhurandhar 2 page of Letterboxd named the cast of the upcoming film. Among them is Raj Zutshi, who is rumoured to play a Pakistani general. While Yami Gautam`s cameo is certain, another name that pops on the cast list is that of Emraan Hashmi.
This has raised speculations that Hashmi could be the one playing Bade Sahab in the much-awaited sequel.

While actors like Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi reprise their characters from Dhurandhar, Akshaye Khanna – who dies in the first part – will also be seen in flashback moments.
However, director Aditya Dhar is yet to comment on any new additions to the cast of Dhurandhar 2. The trailer for the same is likely to be out around March 5.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge will see a theatrical release on March 19.
