Tesla CEO Elon Musk reacts to Astronomer CEO Andy Byron`s Coldplay scandal
The `Coldplaygate scandal` involving astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his alleged affair with his company`s chief HR, Kristin Cabot, has left the internet shaking and quaking. The playful (or intimate) moment between the two high-profile executives has gone viral, forcing social media users to create hilarious memes.
Since the Andy Bryon-Kristin Cabot saga, the moment is now dubbed `Coldplaygate`. Social media is filled with posts about the two, with many fake claims and statements. One such morphed statement, linked to a 1.3 billion dollar tech firm, was shared on X (formerly Twitter).

The statement read, "I want to acknowledge the moment that`s been circulating online and the disappointment it`s caused. What was supposed to be a night of music and joy turned into a deeply personal mistake playing out on a very public stage. I want to sincerely apologise to my wife, my family, and the team at Astronomer. You deserve better from me as a partner, as a father, and as a leader."

"This is not who I want to be or how I want to represent the company I helped build. I`m taking time to reflect, to take accountability, and to figure out the next steps, personally and professionally. I ask for privacy as I navigate that process," it further mentioned.
Who is Astronomer CEO Andy Byron?
The infamous entrepreneur leads Astronomer, a Cincinnati-based tech firm that unlocks insights, unleashes AI value and powers data-driven applications. The company is not listed publicly.
Before assuming his position at the 1.3 billion dollar company, Byron held leadership positions at several other leading tech firms. However, amid the cheating scandal, many former employees of Astronomer have labelled him as a "toxic boss".
One of his former employees told The New York Post, “The text groups and chains of former employees are like… everybody’s laughing their ass off and enjoying the hell out of what happened and him getting exposed.”
He is married to Megan Kerrigan, and they share two children. Amid the ongoing Byron-Cabot controversy, it seems Megan has dropped her surname `Byron` from her Facebook page.
