A third review read, “Mohanlal is brilliant as ever – calm, sharp & totally in command. Family scenes feel warm and real. Jeethu Joseph keeps it slow and steady with nice emotional build-up. Better than Drishyam 2’s first half for many. Nothing explosive till interval, but the tension simmers well. The interval block is strong with a proper twist that hooks you for the 2nd half. Worth watching!"

However, on the contrary, a moviegoer was rather disappointed with Drishyam 3 and called it "predictable and slow-paced".

Another wrote, "A good interval block and a decent second half. The final act fumbled a bit, not bad, but it didn’t live up to the previous parts. Weakest film in the franchise so far. The character arcs felt changed a bit too much and didn’t land properly."
