Dream Girl 2: Ayushmann Khurrana`s Pooja Is Back, Ananya Panday Plays His Love Interest

Dream Girl was one of the biggest openers of 2019. Giving out an important social message of having someone to lean on to, Ayushmann Khurrana yet again proved his versatility. After the movie`s success, fans anticipated a sequel and rumors were the makers will be roping in a new female lead. Well, putting all the rumors to rest, the makers of Dream Girl have finally announced its sequel and we cannot keep calm!
Some of the rumors were right since we`ll be seeing a new actress playing Ayushmann Khurrana`s love interest. Its Ananya Panday to headline the movie while Anyushmann`s Pooja is back again with her iconic "Hello, main Pooja bol rahi hu!" Joining the two is a versatile cast which features Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh and Abhishek Banerjee.
Producer Ektaa Kapoor excitedly shares, "Ayushmann has always been my ‘Dream Girl’, be it in the original or the upcoming sequel. The immense love that we got for Dream Girl got us to turn it into a franchise to bring more to the audiences. Audiences can expect double the fun, double the pun and a doubled dose of comedy in Dream Girl 2.”
The lead actor said, "I am super stoked about Dream Girl 2! This is my second outing with Balaji Motion Pictures and I am thankful to Ektaa that she has carried this franchise forward and made it bigger. I have found a friend in Raaj and it`s exciting to team up with him again. Ananya Panday has been paired with me and I am looking forward to see the audience`s reaction to our chemistry. Along with a cracking ensemble cast of Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Asrani Saab; Dream Girl 2 is sure to take the audiences on a hilarious roller-coaster ride.”
Ananya Panday being the new addition to the cast is quite excited for this upcoming Bollywood movie.
