The news of Ratan Tata passing away spread like wildfire, taking the entire nation by shock. It was on late Wednesday night when the Indian industrialist and business tycoon breathed his last at Mumbai`s Breach Candy hospital after suffering from prolonged illness.
Ratan Tata was 86 years old when he passed away. He was visiting the hospital frequently for routine checkups. Rumors about his health deteriorating were doing the rounds, but he rubbished them, assuring his fans and followers about being in good shape.
While many Bollywood celebrities expressed their grief and mourned his death, it was Diljit Dosanjh who became a tad too emotional as he paid a small tribute to the legendary entrepreneur.
The minute the singer learned about the heartbreaking news, he paused the concert and paid a tribute to Ratan Tata. Though Diljit never got a chance to meet the late business tycoon, he said Mr. Tata had a lasting impact on his life.

“You all know about Ratan Tata. He has passed away. This is my small tribute to him. Today, I feel it is important to take his name because of his life—he has always worked hard. Whatever I have heard and read of him, I have never seen him speak anything wrong about anyone,” the singer-actor said.
The Amar Singh Chamkila actor further added, “He has always worked hard in his life, did good work, and was helpful. This is life; this is how one should be. If there is one thing we can learn from his life, it is that we should work hard, think positively, be helpful, and live life to its fullest.”
After taking over the family business, Ratan Tata made a Tata Emppire worth 3,500 crores. He ventured into various industries and sectors, such as steel, automobiles, salt, and software.
