A few weeks ago, Deepika was nominated to present for the award category 'Best Film Not in the English Language.' While presenting the award, Deepika eloquently said, "The incredible stories nominated in this category depict real and imagined worlds that stay with us long after the credits roll. From the Alps to the Andes, Southern Poland to Seoul, the nominees arehellipand the BAFTA goes to The Zone Of Interest."
The winner is a Polish historical film, based on a 2014 novel by Martin Amis. It follows the life of a German Nazi commander, Rudolf Hoss, as he strives to build a life next to the Auschwitz concentration camp.
