Janhvi Kapoor.
Boney Kapoor and Sridevi got married in 1996 in Shridi. It was not until January that the filmmaker announced his second marriage. This was just around the time when the actress started showing her first pregnancy.

In a recent interview with YouTuber Rohan Dua, the director refuted rumors that Janhvi Kapoor was born
out of wedlock before the couple could tie the knot. He also spoke about their family's religious beliefs and how Sridevi used to walk barefoot to temples whenever he was in trouble.

Dua asked Boney about how he kept his wedding ceremony simple by tying the knot in a temple in Shirdi.
Recalling his wedding day, the filmmaker said, 'My second marriage, my marriage with Sri (took place in Shirdi). We got married on June 2. We exchanged vows, we spent a night there, and it was only in January when
her pregnancy was seen that we had no choice but to marry publicly. It took place in Shirdi on June 2. But, in public, we were married only in January 1997. That is why some scribes still write she (Janhvi) was born before marriage, something like that.'
Boney Kapoor also spoke about his religious beliefs and how he doesn't shy away from passing on the same to his family.
"Whether it was Sri (Sridevi), whether it was Sunita (brother Anil Kapoor's wife), whether it was me, Anil, or my daughter Janhvi, (We are religious.) She goes to Tirupathi every three months. My wife, Sridevi, used to walk to Tirupathi on every birthday of hers. Whenever I was in trouble, she walked from Juhu to Siddhi Vinayak barefoot," the director further added.

The filmmaker and the
legnedary actress tied the knot in a simple ceremony in June 1996. After the wedding, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi had two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor both of them are following in their mother's footsteps into acting.

In the same interview with Rohan Dua, the filmmaker opened up about how Sridevi died. What remained a mystery ever since her sudden demise finally has an answer.
Boney Kapoor said
the actress was on a strict diet and would often pass out due to low blood pressure issues. She wanted to ensure she looked good on screen and maintained a proper physique.
She would often have incidents of blackouts, and the same happened on that very day. Sridevi was in a bathtub in Dubai when she had an accidental episode of blackout due to low BP and drowned in the tub filled with water.
"It was not a natural death it was an accidental death. I had decided not to speak about it because I spoke about it for almost 24-48 hours together when I was being investigated and interrogated," Boney Kapoor opened up on the same.
It was on February 24, 2018, when Sridevi breathed her last.
