Boman Irani is a famous actor, Voice-over artist, and photographer who works predominantly in Hindi Cinema as well as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. On the occasion of Boman Irani’s 63rd Birthday, let’s have a look at his tumultuous life journey from being a waiter to an actor.
He was born on 2 December 1959 in Mumbai. Sadly, Boman’s father died 6 months before he was born. He was a shy dyslexic kid and also had ADHD and a lisp. Boman went through a lot of struggles right from his childhood. Despite all the difficulties, he was very curious and passionate and he never gave up his passion and determination to work hard.
For those who don’t know, the Actor did a 2-year waiter course and worked as a waiter in the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower. He followed his passion for photography and became a famous photographer. At that time photography was his profession but his curiosity for acting and improving with each role made him a great actor.
In the year 2003, he did a small role in the movie, ‘Darna Mana hai’ and became one of the most remembered segments of the film. Since then, he has entertained audiences with his appreciated roles in movies such as Munnabhai M.B.B.S, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots, Khosla ka Ghosla, etc.
Boman states, “Success without failure has no excitement in life. I do believe in luck, but when it comes to getting a break in the film industry, hard work does matter. That makes me believe that if a person is hard-working, and knows exactly what it takes to be an actor, I think he or she will make it at some point in life”.
Happy Birthday Boman Irani!
