Bobby Deol Credits His Mom Prakash Kaur For Always Supporting Dharmendra

One of the most talented actors and star kids, Bobby Deol, has given some incredible performances that are etched in our minds. With his recent acts in Animal and Aashram, he continues to prove why nepotism isn`t always a questionable term.
While fans know him as a versatile actor, what can`t be missed is the legacy Bobby carries of being the son of the legendary actor Dharmendra. Both Deol brothers (Sunny and Bobby) always talk about the impact their father has had on Indian cinema.
Now, in a recent interview, Bobby Deol opened up about his bond with his father, how his mother was always Dharmendra`s strongest support, and more.

The Animal actor sat down for a rather candid chat with Bollywood Hungama, where he opened up about the bond he shares with his parents. For the uninitiated, Bobby and Sunny are sons from Dharmendra`s first wife, Prakash Kaur.
He also credited his wife, Tanya Deol, for supporting him unconditionally. Bobby further recalled the life Dharmendra has lived and the legacy he created.

When asked who among the father-son duo has lived their life to the fullest, Deol said, “I think my dad. He has lived the way he wanted to. I think the Frank Sinatra song ‘I Did It My Way’ really suits him. It’s like him, you know.”
Even at the age of 89, Dharmendra continues to exude his charm, with fans crowding his house with posters and showering love.

“It’s just the way my dad has been. From the word go, when he started his work and entered the industry, he has never met people as a star meets somebody. He always met them as a human being. He is connected with them. He has done so much for so many people. He has been very genuine about it from the heart. I think that’s the reason why love for the Deols has existed to date. It’s all thanks to him,” Bobby Deol added.
The Aashram actor continued, “I have seen my dad surrounded by people who made a bubble around him, as if he were something special. But that’s the one thing I learnt from my dad; he never got carried away with what people made him feel about himself. He always stayed grounded and true to himself.”
Bobby credited his and his brother, Sunny Deol`s, upbringing to both their parents, Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur.
He said, “It’s not just my dad’s contribution. It’s my mother and grandmother, and after I got married, it’s been my wife. She has been there and stood right next to me through good and bad times. It’s just how my mother stood by my dad. My biggest strength is my wife, Tanya. She has believed in me and always told me that I am special.”
