Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met was one of the blockbusters in 2007. It not only shape-shifted Shahid Kapoor's entire career but also redefined romance in Bollywood. The movie was Shahid's last project with Kareena Kapoor as a former couple. The duo went on to part ways in the middle of the shoot.

Why Mira Rajput Wanted Misha And Zain To Watch Jab We Met?

However, coming back to the star kids, Shahid revealed in a recent interview that he does not like Misha and Zain to watch his work. The actor who is busy promoting his upcoming web series Bloody Daddy opened up about why his wife Mira Rajput insisted the kids specifically watch Jab We Met. As per the star's wife, it is the only movie where Shahid is not hitting people.

Upon asking about his kids' reaction to seeing him on the big screen, the actor said, "I don't like them seeing me much. So, on the first day, their first question was 'Why do people come up to you?' Because they hadn't seen much of my work. Now, recently they just saw Jab We Met."

"It had come out in theatres. So, my mom took them to see it and Mira wanted them to go and see it. She was like 'This is one film where you are not like hitting people and doing all this intense stuff. It is a family-viewing kind of film, so I want them to go and see it. So, that actually, I think the first film of mine that they saw," the Farzi actor further added.

The 2007 blockbuster was re-released during Valentine's Week 2023 and the movie buffs were absolutely thrilled about the same. Several videos of fans dancing and hooting in the theatres were doing rounds on the internet. Jab We Met went on to collect more box-office collections than recent releases like Akshay Kumar's Selfiee.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for his upcoming action thriller Bloody Daddy. It also stars Diana Penty and Sanjay Kapoor in prominent roles. The web series will release on Jio Cinema on June 9. The actor also has another untitled movie with Kriti Sanon in his kitty.
