While the world was recovering from the deadly pandemic, it seems there is a rise in covid cases yet again. It all started with a surge in Singapore and Hong Kong. With Shilpa being diagnosed, it seems India might also have to take precautionary measures.

As soon as her post was up, many fans and followers flocked to the comments, wishing her a speedy recovery. Others also thanked her for spreading awareness and reminding others to continue staying cautious.
One user wrote, “Get well soon.” Another commented, “Take care, Shilpa ji.” Bigg Boss contestant Chum Darang also commented, "Get well soon" with a red heart emoji. Sonakshi Sinha prayed for her recovery and wrote, "Oh god!!! Take care, Shilpaaa… speedy recovery."
On the work front
Shilpa Shirodkar is gearing up for her next project, Jatadhara, which will also mark Sonakshi Sinha`s Telugu debut. The pan-Indian Telugu supernatural fantasy thriller also stars Sudheer Babu, Ravi Prakash, Divya Vij, and Rain Anjali in prominent roles.
Speaking about the film, Shirodkar said, "Jatadhara has been a surreal experience for me. My experience has been incredibly positive, and the entire cast and crew have been so warm and welcoming. It truly feels amazing to be in front of the camera and playing such a unique character.”
For the uninitiated, Shilpa was crowned Miss India in 1992. She is the sister of Miss India 1993 and actress Namrata Shirodkar.
More about COVID-19 cases
Several Asian countries, including Hong Kong and Singapore, reported a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases in recent weeks. Health officials suggested this may be due to a decline in overall immunity and fewer elderly individuals receiving their booster doses.
China is also approaching a rise in coronavirus infections, and its cases are rising to the same as last summer`s peak. Thailand is yet another addition to the list following the Songkran Festival in April.
The Singapore Ministry of Health released a statement that read, “There is no indication that the variants circulating locally are more transmissible or cause more severe disease compared to previously circulating variants.”
Radio City wishes Shilpa Shirodkar a safe and speedy recovery.
