Trust Vikramaditya Motwane to create the most unconventional stories and draw extra-ordinary performances from his leads. Remember Rajat Bharmecha from ‘Udaan’, Sonakshi Sinha from ‘Lootera’ and Rajkummar Rao from ‘Trapped’? With ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’, Motwane creates a superhero out of an average common man using a comic strip template. Harshvardhan Kapoor, who returns with his second film, after a dismal debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’, captivates your attention from the very first rush in the trailer. Letting his eyes do the talking, he displays naivety and strength, as tackles corruption from a young college kid, to a vigilante on the loose. ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ could just be your answer to an Indian version of ‘Batman VS Superman’ or ‘Deadpool’. Produced by Eros Now, Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films, ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ also stars Nishikant Kamat and is slated for release on May 25th, 2018. Watch the trailer below.
