Atlee Opens Up On Collaborating With Shah Rukh Khan For Jawan 2

Atlee on collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan again
It was in 2023 that the Indian box office created new records and broke some older ones with Shah Rukh Khan`s Jawan. The Atlee directorial went on to become a global pan-Indian blockbuster.
As much as fans want the two to collaborate yet again, the director broke silence on working with the superstar again. He also addressed rumours around Jawan 2 and Don 3.
Atlee said while he is excited to work with Khan again, Jawan 2 may not be that project.
"I think I and Shah Rukh Sir will definitely work on something. But Jawan 2, I personally feel, [can only happen] maybe after some years. It won`t be the immediate next. But we will look into something. When that idea comes, or something happens organically, we will definitely do something," he said.
Recently, there were rumours that Shah Rukh Khan imposed a condition on doing Don 3, provided Atlee will direct it. The Farhan Akhtar directorial was initially led by Ranveer Singh.
When asked about the same, Atlee simply laughed it off, calling it a rumour. "I also read about it, but there`s nothing like that. It`s just a rumour," the director mentioned.
On the personal front, Atlee recently shared the exciting news of embracing fatherhood for the second time, as his wife, Priya, announced her pregnancy last week. The couple welcomed their first child, a son – Meer – in 2023.
