While some call it a powerful political drama, others have mixed views about the subject.

The film revolves around what forced the Indian government to strike off Article 370 from the Indian Constitution to make Jammu and Kashmir a free and safe union territory. Yami Gautam plays the role of a badass spy, while Priya Mani is seen as a change-making politician.

The film also stars Arun Govil as the Indian Prime Minister. The political drama hits you hard in the gut, especially when the valley suffers from terror attacks and inter-religious protests, forcing the minority to leave their homes.

Article 370 plot

The film begins with a goosebumps-giving prologue in Ajay Devgn's voice. The story revolves around an ID field officer, Zooni Haskar (Yami Gautam), who successfully eliminates Burhan Wani, a Mujahideen leader and son of a headmaster, in an encounter.

This creates a huge uproar in the valleys of Kashmir, leaving them burning. The civilians go wild and brutally protest against Wani's death through stone-pelting. Amidst this, Zooni was suspended and relocated to Delhi.

The narrative stands still until Rajeshwari Swaminathan (Priya Mani), Joint Secretary at the PMO, invites Zooni to lead the NIA with the aim of restoring stability in the valley and ultimately striking off Article 370.
